One of the most anticipated sneaker releases of the year is right around the corner. Launching in conjunction with this year's Nike Air Max Day, the Swoosh will release Sean Wotherspoon's vintage inspired Air Max 97, in limited quantities starting this month.

Voted as the best Air Max prototype design by Nike heads in 2017, the shoe will finally see a release on March 26. Channeling the popular corduroy trend of the 1980s, the silhouette features a multi-colored corduroy upper in green, navy blue, aqua blue, gray, brown and mustard. Sitting atop of an off-white Air Bubble unit midsole, the sneaker is rounded out by a matching multi-color outsole to complement the silhouette’s overall look.

Sean Wotherspoon has become a symbolic figure in the world of vintage wear and old school apparel. Co-founder of the Round Two boutique in Los Angeles, as well as the successful Round Two YouTube channel, Wotherspoon has been known to show off his coveted vintage apparel and sneaker collection through his high volume videos.

The Nike Air Max 1/97 SW Collector’s Dream is set to release in limited quantities on Sat., March 26, at select Nike retailers nationwide as well as on nike.com for a suggested price of $160.
