Before the 2019 XXL Freshman Class will be revealed this summer, the Freshman hopefuls are here to show and prove why they deserve a spot in this year’s class. The 10th spot voting will launch on March 25, which means hip-hop's rising newcomers are vying for a spot on the 2019 XXL Freshman cover.

Molly Brazy ain’t nothing to play with. The independent Detroit lioness, with her fierce demeanor and hard-hitting bars started spitting officially at the age of 16 and began gaining fame for her raps almost immediately. The confident raptress, who has over 1 million followers on Instagram, first racked up brazy numbers for her viral freestyles and kept her momentum going with the release of full-length projects like 2017’s Molly World and Big Brazy, which featured the single “Pop Shit” and the heartfelt “Molly’s Story.”

A self-described girl from the trenches, the 20-year-old “Tea Party” rhymer bossed up for 2018’s Queen Pen. Whether reflecting on beating the odds or stunting on her haters, Molly Brazy, whose video for “Trust None” has reached over 16 million YouTube views, isn’t afraid to keep it real. Expect to hear more from her when she releases her next project later this year.
