Today, Mod Sun and Rostrum Records hit the music world with a double whammy by releasing the audio and visuals for his latest single, "1970."  Mod Sun embraces his love for the bohemian lifestyle in his latest video. It features tie-dye shirts, lots of weed and trippy colors. He directed the video along with his New Hippys crew.

While Mod Sun kept his new deal with Rostrum Records under raps, their recent partnership seems to be blossoming quite nicely. Together, they will release Mod's first studio album slated to be released around early 2015. Mod spoke out about Rostrum Records fully supporting his vision, as well as, his unique indie hip-hop sound.

"Rostrum thinks the same way I speak on these songs and they know what it's like to go all out for something you believe in. That's exactly why this partnership is so divine to me. This album is like finding magic in the everyday. It makes you realize this is the greatest day you've ever lived, and that's the most important message I can convey," said Mod.

For those of you who haven't heard of Mod Sun, he's worked with ScHoolboy Q, Nipsey Hussle, Travis Barker, The Cranberry Show and G-Eazy. He has six mixtapes, three EPs and a popular book under his belt. Rostrum Records also boasted about their eagerness to release his new project

“His energy and creativity are unparalleled, and I can’t wait for everyone to hear the music he’s making…it’s incredible. We’re honored to be a part of it.”
