The relationship between Michael Jordan and coveted tim director Spike Lee goes back to the early ‘90s when both personalities appeared on the classic Nike Air Jordan commercials. Since then, Spike has become a face for MJ’s brand and even has a sneaker line of his own under the Jordan Brand.

Keeping their ties strong after so many years, the Jordan Brand and Spike Lee team up once again for the release of the Jordan Spike Forty Deep Royal/Citrus. The new silhouette is dressed in the New York Knicks’ colorways of royal blue and orange while hits of white and black are featured on the midsole of the shoe. One of the highlights from the sneaker is the Spike Lee face that is used as a lace lock on the shoelaces of the sneaker.

Set to drop on Wednesday, Oct. 28 for $180, the Jordan Spike Forty Deep Royal/Citrus will be available at select Jordan Brand retailers.
