Like it or not, Facebook remains the titan of social media networks, mostly because of its continued ability to adapt. And now, your personal feed will become a bit more musical thanks to a new feature launching in conjunction with major streaming services.

Starting today (Nov. 5), songs shared through the "Share on Facebook" option on Spotify and Apple Music will appear in the news feeds of iOS users as 30-second song samples clips similar to snippets on iTunes. The new feature dubbed, "Music Story", aims to make music sharing more seamless between users. If the user likes what they hear, they can add the song to their own streaming service accounts or buy it for their offline collection.

This news comes on the heels of Facebook debunking rumors that they themselves were entering the music streaming arms race. This "music features" options seems to be much more up their alley.

For now, "Music Story" is only available to iOS users on Facebook's iPhone app but the site has plans to expand the feature for Android users soon.
