Oh, Bubba!

Bubba Sparxxx’s tax problems are worse than originally reported. Over the weekend, TMZ broke the story that the state of Georgia—where Bubba calls home—is currently collecting the rapper’s wages to cover his $29,266 debt to the state.

However, today (June 27), the celebrity news website is reporting that Bubba actually owes hundreds of thousands to the Federal Government.

"I was having a good time and just wasn't attentive to a lot of issues,” Bubba admitted to TMZ. “My main issue was Mr. Tax Man, which I neglected because of doing things I had no business doing."

"This past year I have now changed all of that, he added. “I have stopped partying and hanging out...I got a tax lawyer and a business account to get my tax situation handled. I plan on paying my debt with my new album."

Bubba splashed onto the scene back in 2001 with his debut album, Dark Days, Bright Nights, which super producer Timabaland overseen and counted “Ugly” as the lead single.

Two years later, Bubba followed up with Deliverance, which included the singles, “Jimmy Mathis,” “Back in the Mud,” and the title track, “Deliverance.”—Jakinder Singh
