As the year draws to a close, we can say one thing with absolute certainty: 2015 brought us a staggering amount of music from Young Thug. Not all of it was by choice--this spring saw a devastating rash of leaks, in which dozens upon dozens of unreleased songs and demos were dumped unceremoniously onto the Internet. But even on the official side of the ledger, it was crowded, as the Atlanta rapper dropped his Barter 6 tape this spring and two installments of his Slime Season series only a few weeks apart this fall. (This is all in addition to a seemingly unending string of guest verses, including his turn on "I Know There's Gonna Be (Good Times)" from Jamie xx's Grammy-nominated In Colour.) And he's not stopping: In a new interview with the French web series Mon Entourage, Thug confirms that he has a trio of new projects ready to go, one each with three different collaborators.

Thug said in no uncertain terms that the Migos collaboration, tentatively called Migos Thuggin, will one day be released. (Thug has spoken about Migos Thuggin before, asking fans on Instagram if he should drop that or the second Slime Season on Halloween; the public chose the latter.) The other tapes had previously only been hinted at: one with Fetty Wap, and one with "White Iverson" curiosity Post Malone. But he was mum on release dates, explaining that he believes strongly in the value of timing. "Even if Kanye wanted to put out an album with me right now, if I didn't feel like it was the time, I'd be like, 'Hold on,'" he explains.

Beyond the upcoming release schedule, Thug opened up in a way he seldom has with American journalists. He told Mon Entourage that as a child, he expected to be a professional football player rather than a rapper. He also said that his children--over whom he's currently engaged in a custody battle--are often in the studio with him when he records, and serve as one of his biggest inspirations. Finally, he listed Lil Wayne, the Hot Boyz, Jeezy, T.I., Rick Ross and Gucci Mane as the favorite rappers of his youth, and expressed excitement at the prospect of collaborating with Andre 3000.
