Run The Jewels have taken on some unusual projects in their short time atop hip-hop, among them recording an album comprised entirely of cat sounds on what essentially amounts to a dare. This time, they're entering a fantasy world that only exists for a month. From tomorrow (Aug. 21) through September 27, the renowned, anonymous English street artist Banksy will take over the site of a now-closed swimming pool in a town called Weston-super-Mare, which is near Bristol on the West coast of England. In its place, Banksy is hosting a theme park called Dismaland (think 'dismal'), and to draw fans, he's inviting a series of entertainers for a live show each Friday night of the month-long run. Run The Jewels will take over September 4, accompanied by DJ Dapper Dan. Other notable appearances will be made by Stones Throw founder Peanut Butter Wolf (on Aug. 28) and by the Russian political dissidents Pussy Riot (on Sept. 25).

Killer Mike himself has been taking on plenty of sociopolitical issues, most recently touting the effectiveness in the ongoing protests in Missouri. Previously, he was invited to the White House Correspondents' Dinner and wrote about the experience. The duo's video for "Close Your Eyes and Count to Fuck" turned plenty of heads with its depiction of the police-vs-citizen struggle as futile and perpetual. After their first two records shot to the top of critics' lists in 2013 and 2014, respectively, Mike and El-P have announced that they'll have a third out in short order.
