Listen to Run The Jewels’ ‘Meow The Jewels’ Track, “Meowrly”

In case you were still thinking Run The Jewels' proposed Meow The Jewels album was just talk, here's more proof that Killer Mike and El-P really do plan on putting out an album of songs fully composed of cat noises. After receiving a snippet here and there, we finally get a full song. Today, the duo drops the first single from the project entitled "Meowrly." The song is a reworking of the RTJ track "Early" featuring, you guessed it, a wide array of feline sound effects.

This is really happening. Killer Kill and P started on the project back in January after a fan launched a successful Kickstarter to get the duo to remix their Run The Jewels 2 album using all cats sounds. Just Blaze and Alchemist has even reportedly worked on the album. All proceeds for the project will go to charity.
