Smokepurpp Addresses Haters on New Song ‘That’s My Energy’

Smokepurpp is making sure to show and prove his skills now that he's been officially signed to Todd Moscowitz’s new label Alamo Records under Universal Music Group. The Florida native has released a brand new track for fans called "That's My Energy," where he addresses the persistent haters that continue to fail at fazing him on the daily.

The new track was produced by both DJ Flippp and RedDrum and includes a hook that reflects some Drake vibes off of his hit single "Energy" from 2015. For his verse on the two-minute song, the "How That Make You Feel" rapper spits, "Pull up with a backwood in my mouth/Smokin' in an Audi, yeah they sight me/Fuck niggas hatin', niggas wanna fight me." The record has a mellow feel to it, and will be the perfect addition to a smooth road trip this summer once the weather starts to heat up.

Smokepurpp has been dropping one banger after another as of recent. "Glock Inside My Benz" produced by TM88 is a standout, and his recent collab with RiFF RAFF "How That Make U Feel" is doing major numbers.
