Lupe Fiasco’s Got a Story to Tell on New Song “Jump”
Lupe Fiasco drops the newest single off his upcoming album, DROGAS Light, which is set to release on Feb. 10. "Jump" takes a turn from the melodic Jake Torrey-assisted “Wild Child” record he released last week, and incorporates a lot more bounce.
"Gold medals, them my role models/Rollin' old models, lowered old schools/Flowin' cold and goin' gold follows/Flower bearin', call it petals to the floor/Power sharin', call it devils to the door/Power, power, 'til ain't no devils anymore," he raps.
Despite proclaiming on Twitter last month that he was retiring because he caught flack from the Anti-Defamation League for some lines about Jewish execs on the song titled “N.E.R.D.,” Lupe is moving forward with DROGAS Light. The album also features appearances from Ty Dolla $ign, Rick Ross and Big K.R.I.T., and he's already released singles like “Pick Up the Phone” and “Made in the U.S.A."
The Food & Liquor MC is also gearing up to release two more albums in 2017 called DROGAS and Skulls, hopefully.
Bump “Jump” above.
