Pro Era's Kirk Knight and Joey Badass are on the run from the cops in the new video for "5 Minutes," shared on YouTube today (Mar. 3). As the latest single off Kirk's debut project Late Knight Special, Pro Era's producer-turned-rapper is anxiously trying to outrun the boys in this Slick Jackson-directed clip.

From the beginning, the viewers feel the same sense of urgency as Knight does, following him as he runs through Brooklyn streets, stops at his girl's house, switches clothes to avoid getting pinned and jumps into a conveniently placed getaway car just as the pigs close in. Knight even raps into a cellphone like Notorious B.I.G did back in his "Warning" days. "At the thought - of another ignorant phone call/ Who is this? Calling me at 5:47 in the morning/ Crack a dawn and why she mourning/ Bittersweet, hit it both ways, now I'm scorching."

Next up, the visual shifts to the shooting range where Badass raps his vicious verse about the "trigger finger getting hornier and hornier" while surrounded by shell casings and target papers with George Zimmerman's face on them. The 4-minute visual over Knight's self-produced beat ends with a fade to black and "To be continued..."

The Brooklyn collective have been doubling down on their output lately. In addition to Knight's project, the Pro's Nyck Caution dropped his debut project Disguise the Limit this week and Joey's latest song "Ready" included a Troy Ave diss that fueled the on-going beef between the two Brooklyn MCs.
