Listen to Erykah Badu, “Phone Down”

The spell of Erykah Badu would make a lot of men do a lot of things, but all she wants right now is your undivided attention. After teasing the track last week, Badu drops the official audio for "Phone Down" off her upcoming But You Caint Use My Phone mixtape.

"I can make you put your phone down and we cruise through the city/I can make you put your phone down, you ain't gonna text no one when you with me," she sings. On the track's Soundcloud page, it says "this one's for Aubrey" and even though Badu and Drake are confirmed friends, a little further down the page reads "Concept /Written by Aubrey Davis." Though it was initially reported that the new Badu mixtape would drop in early November, the song details mention that But You Caint Use My Phone will appear on iTunes over Thanksgiving weekend.
