Since breaking into the game, no one has questioned Meek Mill's energy on tracks. Known for his aggressive flow and delivery, Meek has made lightwork of beats and created anthems like "Ima Boss" with easy-to-follow lyrics that make his music instant party movers when played by the DJ. Over Drake's "Energy," the Philly native uses the same aggressive formula and destroys the Boi-1da produced instrumental. Played on Funkmaster Flex's show last night (May 13), the MMG rapper takes shots at all those doubting his status in the hood and his influence in the burbs. The "Energy" freestyle is another notch on Meek's likely expensive ripped beat belt. At the cover shoot for the latest print edition of XXL, he took a few moments to shoot a vid for his freestyle over Raekwon's "Ice Cream" instrumental.
