Jidenna clearly isn't your average, cookie cutter rapper. But what else do you expect from an artists coming off eclectic R&B doll Janelle Monae's Wondaland Records. The indie imprint recently inked a partnership with Epic Records and celebrated to new situation with the release of the video for Wondaland artists Jidenna and GianArthur's "Classic Man." Hailing from East Flatbush, Brooklyn, Jidenna is introducing a genre of music he titled SWANK.

In the visual for "Classic Man," J looks the part of the title rocking Andre 3000-esque attire. After cleaning up nice, the MC hits up a jumping house party while spitting about his ability to get what he wants because of his vintage look. Monae also makes a cameo in the treatment, cutting a rug toward the end.

Each artist under Wondaland Records has unparalleled talent, incredible vision, and brings something unique to the music industry," she said. “Together, we’re creating a new movement and space for the future of music and pop culture. I'm honored to be partnering with Epic Records and my friend LA Reid to present such extraordinary talent."
