Joey Badass has brought Kanye West's McDonald's poem to life. Hot 97's Megan Ryte asked for someone to perform the unique poem Kanye penned for Frank Ocean's Boys Don't Cry magazine and Joey obliged.

"I know them French fries had a plan/The cheeseburger and the shakes formed a band/To overthrow the French fries' plan/I always knew them French fries was evil man/Smelling all good and shit/I don’t trust no food that smells that good man/I don’t trust it/I just can’t cause I'm in McDonalds man, damn," he raps.

Joey Badass got to have some fun by performing this hilarious Yeezy poem which is probably welcomed after the recent tragedy in his life. The MC lost his cousin in Brooklyn shooting earlier this month.

"No words... Just a heavy heart,” Joey Badass said on Aug. 12 via Instagram. "RIP to my cousin Terrell Henry smh... Through all the positivity there’s always a negative… truly devastated 😞 #ForeverRell #ForeverJR."

Despite this loss, Joey Badass has managed to put in a ton of work as of late. Joey and his Pro Era collective just helped out with the launch of Adidas Originals' new flagship store in New York City's SoHo neighborhood. The rapper's also been a regular presence on television due to his role on the hit show Mr. Robot.

The New York native won't be slowing down either. Joey Badass is set to hit the road next month as part of Schoolboy Q's Blank Face tour.
