The death of Bankroll Fresh was another tragic instance of a talented young artist being robbed of the opportunity for greater things. The Atlanta rapper had been steadily rising in the rap game, finding himself with increased recognition following each new project he released. Sadly, fans will not get to see what he could have become. But Bankroll Fresh will live on through his music.

To keep his name out there, Bankroll Fresh's team has put out a new single from the deceased rapper called "Waitin on Me Freestyle." The Fresh Jones produced song has no frills as Bankroll keeps it direct with his rhymes.

"I'ma take the hood platinum/Wrap my neck and wrist in platinum/Water stone, wishing well/Pussy nigga wish me well/Nigga thought I would gon' fail/High pursuit, you know I bail," Bankroll Fresh raps.

Bankroll Fresh's passing affected a lot of people including hit maker Metro Boomin. The acclaimed producer wrote a powerful message about his friend not long after Bankroll's death.

"I miss recording songs at the house all night and u would just stay and sleep on the couch because you wanted to win as bad as I wanted to win,” he wrote. "I hate how we did less and less as we both were getting more and more success. we were both so busy and never could even be in town at the same time anymore. But through that you were still genuinely happy for me as much as I was for you."

Metro Boomin is just one of the many hip-hop artists who paid tribute to Bankroll Fresh. 2 Chainz created some memorial hats for the late Atlanta rapper while Metro, alongside fellow producers Sonny Digital and Southside, helped get a billboard in Bankroll's honor put up in Atlanta.
