Chris Brown, Lil Wayne and More on August Alsina’s New Album

August Alsina released the tracklist for his sophomore album This Thing Called Life last night (Dec. 2). The LP drops on Dec. 11. The 15-song album features guest appearances from Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, Anthony Hamilton and Jadakiss. The New Orleans born singer has already released a handful of singles from the album including "Hip-Hop" and "Song Cry." Pre-orders for This Thing Called Life begin this Friday (Dec.4). Check out the tracklist below. The former XXL Freshman's impressive debut album Testimony dropped last year in April.

XXL spoke to Alsina about what fans can expect from his upcoming project. “You know, I know what I deal with on a daily basis,” he said, “And if I can help just one person… You know, I think Testimony was so one-sided, like it was really just me, me, me. But this is just everything I live and everything I see and kind of adopting a persona, too, seeing other people’s situations and kind of giving my insight on that. I just want people to be able to grow from it, because that’s what life is all about. Just find that balance and be able to grow from the album. I want you to be able to fuck to the album, I want you to be able to cry to the album, I want you to be able to heal from the album, I want you to be able to hurt from the album.”

The talented singer also took to his Instagram to post the song credits for each track.
