In June, Iggy Azalea announced she was scrapping all the material she had done for her upcoming sophomore release and starting from scratch. Two months later and the Aussie MC is more than halfway finished with the project. She recently fielded questions from fans on Twitter, and doing so gave an update on where she is progress wise on the new album and what fans should expect to get the second time around. "I'm in the studio as i type this, things are going great & moving along. 6 songs completed on the album," she posted.

Strangely, it will be at least another five months before fans will hear the first single off the LP as Azalea says the lead track wont drop until "next year." The rapper also revealed the new album would probably have less songs than the first and will come with a documentary.
