Remy Ma and her husband Papoose will be joining the cast of VH1's Love & Hip-Hop: New York. Remy took to Instagram to share the news, posting the photo above with the caption, "We the real Love & HipHop!!! #BlackLove #MeetTheMackies #RemyMa #RemyMafia #LHHNY #Season6 #ThisCannotBeDuplicated."

The hip-hop couple will be joining the sixth season of Love & Hip-Hop: New York. At the moment, there is no word on who else will join the cast. Last year's cast members were Yandy Smith, Tara Wallace, Amina Buddafly, Cyn Santana, Chrissy Crastanda and Erica Mena.

In addition to prepping for their new television opportunity, the New York MCs are also putting in work in the studio. Papoose's You Can't Stop Destiny album is dropping next Friday (July 17) via RBC Records. This is the Brooklyn native's sophomore album, a follow up to his 2013 The Nacirema Dream. The album comes with appearances from Troy Ave, Remy, Ty Dolla $ign, Maino, and more. As for Remy, she too has been recording new tracks left and right since being released from prison last year, including a string of remixes and her I'm Around mixtape that dropped last fall. The married couple hopped on Smoothe Da Hustler and Trigger Tha Gambler’s classic back-and-forth showcase, “Broken Language” renaming the cut “Broken Slanguage.” The song dropped in May.

Love & Hip-Hop: New York just got a lot more interesting.
