Young Thug didn't get the warm reception he was hoping for when he performed at Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA, recently. The Atlanta rapper performed at the school Saturday night (April 25) along with Travis Scott and definitely felt the wrath of a number of Lil Wayne supporters. Video recently surfaced of the performance that shows concertgoers yelling and booing while Thugger attempts his set.

In the clips, a group in the crowd begins to taunt Thugger by yelling "Weezy." This quickly escalates to insults with concertgoers then yelling "Fuck You" as the Rich Gang representative tries to perform. The digs are clearly audible to Thug, because at one point he says to one of the main hecklers, "I still love you."

The ill will towards Birdman's newest protégé is clearly correlated with his ongoing beef with Lil Wayne which seemed to start publically when Thug named his mixtape Carter 6, later renamed Barter 6. The Young Money boss clearly took the title as a jab, considering the ongoing beef with him and Cash Money, and he has since dissed Thugger in a public forum on multiple occasions.

Ironically, Wayne faired worse during his stint in YT's city, Atlanta, last night. Following a performance at club Compound, his tour bus was shot at after leaving the venue.
