Lil Wayne’s Tour Bus Shot at in Atlanta
It's real in the field for a Lil Wayne bus driver. Wayne's tour bus was shot at as he and his entourage were leaving a club in Atlanta early Sunday morning (April 26). Weezy performed at club Compound, Saturday night. According to TMZ, as his two tour buses were leaving the venue shots were fired. The reports states, Lil Wayne, Lil Twist, Hood and host of other Young Money personnel were riding in one of the two buses. According to WSBTV-Atlanta, the bus was not struck by any bullets. No one was injured during shooting.
The tour bus was driven to a nearby hotel after the shooting and police were called to the scene. As of press time, no arrests have been made. There were no reports of any incidents that happened inside the club that would have incited the shooting.
“Witnesses could only provide a limited description of the suspect vehicles,” a police spokesperson told the AJC. “They were described as two white vehicles, possibly a Corvette-style vehicle and an SUV.”
Of course, speculation has already started to circulate that this incident has something to do with Atlanta rapper Young Thug, who Weezy has been taking shots at recently. Following the release of the art work for Young Thug's Barter 6, Wayne went at YT's neck telling the crowd at a show, “Stop listening to songs of niggas who pose naked on their motherfucking album covers.” After previously saying he had too much respect for Wayne to talk down about him, Thug sent a cryptic shot at Wayne via Instagram. The Young Money boss again taunted Thugger during a recent show in Ohio telling the crowd, "Ain’t no muthafuckin such thing as Carter 6…And anytime you bitch them bitch ass niggas to come up win this muthafucka, before they say one word you let ‘em know Tunechi said, ‘suck my dick.’"
