Birdman has been under fire lately, from his very public split with his longtime friend, protege and flagship artist, Lil Wayne, to fielding menacing "courtesy calls" from Rap-A-Lot founder J. Prince. Now, Prince's son, Jas Prince, has told TMZ that Birdman only gets one warning when it comes to paying up. The younger Rap-A-Lot heir is suing Birdman and Cash Money for money he feels is due to him for discovering Drake. According to Prince--and a lawsuit that he and his father had filed previously--it was he who connected the Toronto rapper with the New Orleans mogul, setting the stage for what would be one of the most profitable young careers in rap history.

Speaking to the TMZ cameras as he was leaving the famous Mr. Chow's in Beverly Hills, Prince was calm and amiable, saying that he was content to let his lawyers handle the matter. His father, however, has been decidedly more stern. His thinly veiled threats to Birdman and Wayne made waves earlier this month, when they were released on what Rap-A-Lot veteran Bun B said was meant to be an interlude on an upcoming album. Ironically, the call was made in defense of Drake, whom the elder Prince referred to as "family." Aside from the Cash Money camp, the ire was reserved for Diddy, who allegedly slapped Drake outside of a Miami nightclub last December.
