It hasn't been the best year for Chief Keef (but it hasn't been that bad, either). Sure, the young Chicagoan maybe have been dropped by Interscope; no, his Kanye West duet didn't take over radio channels or publishing houses. But Keef did moved to Los Angeles, where he is (hopefully, presumably) safer. And when it comes to music, he's gotten both more prolific and weirder: Back From The Dead 2 and Nobody are menacing rabbit holes lined by chrome and Autotune.

Keef has become such an iconic figure, it seems, his influence has bled into other artistic mediums. This weekend in Los Angeles, Keef co-hosted (with Frank 151) an art exhibition starring...himself. Seventh Letter Art Gallery was filled with canvases of Keef in the Garden of Eden, Keef as anthropomorphized gun, and Keef as Mr. Potato Head. Noisey's Rebecca Haithcoat spoke with the rapper, who said the best thing about LA is "the quiet."
