UPDATE: According to Miss Info, despite all of the tweeting that Chief Keef has done, stating that he's off of Interscope, Keef is still in fact, signed to the label at this current time.

Well damn. The relationship between Interscope Records and Chief Keef is officially over. Interscope has parted ways with the "Love Sosa" artist and dropped him from the label.

According to AHH, Chief and the label couldn't reach a middle ground concerning his sophomore project. Combine with Chief being a high risk liability, the label felt the need to sever ties with the young artist. The story revealed that Interscope "began to subtly disassociate itself from the 19-year-old rapper after he had a series of legal cases sprout up in 2013 and 2014, ranging from lawsuits to drug offenses."

In hopes of rejuvenating his career and mindset, the rapper moved to LA to be closer to the label. By then, the relationship between the label and Chief had already been sour. “Keef and his people tried to keep the label accountable (once Keef moved to Los Angeles) but Interscope didn’t seem interested in dropping a new album. Keef’s team tried to have formal meetings but nothing moved,” an anonymous source revealed to AllHipHop.

Today, (Oct 21) Chief went on his twitter and confirmed the break-up. Time for Chief to get Indy money.
