Update: (12/20 2:45pm)

Yesterday, Azealia Banks and Action Bronson squared off in a war of 140 characters on Twitter. Now Q-Tip and Solagne have come to the defense of the Harlem rapper in the spat. Tip, Solagne and Tyler, The Creator were among the celebrities that showed public admiration for Banks after her recent Hot97 interview where she was critical of T.I., Iggy Azalea and the music industry.

The Tribe Called Quest rapper and Solange also interjected during Banks' Twitter rumble with Bronson, calling to question his reference to Civil Rights during the back-and-forth.

Bam Bam tried explaining, but only seemed to dig himself into a deeper hole before tapping out.

Q-Tip then directed his tweets at Iggy Azalea and tweeted a not so brief history lesson about hip-hop.

With just 12 days left in the year, Azealia Banks continues to rack up more and more enemies as the last month dwindles by. This week alone has been filled with nothing but drama for the Harlem rapper who just released her debut independent album Broke With Expensive Taste. Not only did she go on Hot 97 and blast T.I. for supporting her known enemy in business, Iggy Azalea, but she and Iggy also went at it earlier today on Twitter as a result of that radio interview.

The latest artist to get caught up in the cross fire is Action Bronson. In response to a fan named Beth Kushner agreeing that Iggy Azalea wasn't hip-hop, Kushner then asked Azealia how she felt about white rappers that did have skills like Action Bronson. For some reason this sparked a sour note for Bronson, thus igniting the twitter war.
