Trina Thinks Iggy Azalea Is “Really Dope”

Despite having a handful of detractors in the realm of hip-hop, Iggy Azalea has blossomed. While many veterans have been severely critical on Iggy, some actually granted her their stamp of approval. During an interview with Vlad TV, Trina admitted that Iggy is "really dope." She also commented on hip-hop's problem with rappers who aren't black.

“You probably pick up that trait of being Southern,” Trina said. “Being around T.I. and that whole Southern crew. Cause they’re very Southern. Very, very Southern. So, I can see that kinda happening. I don’t see nothing wrong with that. Yeah, I think she’s dope. I think she’s really dope. She reminds me of like a Fergie. I love Fergie. Fergie’s amazing…When you say rap or Hip Hop, people expect it to be just urban or black. And I don’t really feel like you should really put a face on it.”

If you remember, Rah Digga chastised Iggy regarding her placement in hip-hop. Recently, she revealed to being open to collaborating with the Aussie rapper, if the timing was right.
