Do you remember Kendrick Lamar's otherworldly performance on 'SNL'? Well, after his performance, Kendrick drew shockwaves around the internet. RZA spoke to MTV News and explained how he thought Kendrick channeled his inner ODB during his "i" performance on 'SNL'.

‘Yo I just feel like Kendrick is showing respect to Dirty right now, do you see this,’” he said regarding the performance. “I looked at it and said, ‘Wow, that looks [like] respect to me too.’”

With Kendrick donning a half head of braids and black contacts, most thought he drew very strong comparisons another fellow Wu-Tang Clan, Method Man. Method Man's debut album Tical 20th anniversary was on June 15.  While Kendrick was performing, RZA was celebrating ODB's birthday when he heard about K.Dot's set. “We celebrated in L.A., we had a kung-fu night in a movie theatre. We showed 5 Deadly Venoms and we had a special ODB cake made," RZA told MTV.

Ten years ago Ol’ Dirty Bastard passed away at the young age of 35. Wu-Tang members and his family reflected with XXL about his legacy.

Coincidence or pure homage? What do you guys think?
