Ten years ago today, the world lost the multi-talented, irreplaceable Ol' Dirty Bastard. The Wu-Tang wild child was one of the most iconic representations of what it meant to be free and uninhibited, both in his life and in the rap game, and his style has never been duplicated or replicated. His death of a drug overdose in 2004 was a blow to the Wu, ending a run of classic albums with the original nine members of one of the greatest groups that hip-hop has ever seen. On the 10th anniversary of Dirty's death, XXL reached out to a slew of his former Clan members and contemporaries, including The RZA, Raekwon, Inspectah Deck, Masta Killa, Cappadonna, Killah Priest, The LOX and DJ Mathematics to share their memories of the late, great MC, his legacy in the game and what is missing today without him.
