Snoop Dogg Is A New Co-Owner Of Reddit

Snoop Dogg has been an active member of the reddit community, partaking in the popular "Ask Me Anything" Q+A sessions on the site, and as a moderator for the site's forum dedicated to stoners. Now, Snoop is taking his involvement to the next level as it was announced yesterday that he is now a co-owner of the growing website. In a blog post written for the website, reddit announced that it secured $50 million worth of outside funding and Snoop Dogg was mentioned as one of the investors.

The investment by Snoop will likely prove to be a wise one. Being that reddit has operated on a shoestring budget for so long, yet stands as one of the most popular sites on the web, the big investment will allow reddit to expand and add staff, develop product, expand the community management team, and boost the site's mobile offering.

Also Snoop Dogg and League of Young Voters brought their "No Guns Allowed" anti-gun violence campaign to Atlanta during BET Hip-Hop Awards weekend by hosting an intimate breakfast called: "No Guns Allowed: Fallout from Ferguson."  Check out the video below.
