People quit their jobs everyday. But when someone quits their job on live TV, and weed is the motivation, that's a story. Case in point; former Alaskan reporter, and marijuana advocate, Charlo Greene who ended her career in broadcast journalism earlier this week with the simple phrase, "F-ck it, I quit," after delivering a new story on weed. So what gives? Recently, hip-hop's pot dignitary, Snoop Dogg caught up with Greene and picked her brain about the bold move. "I was on live TV," said Greene. "It came down to me ending a story, and I sat and I thought out loud, f-ck it, I quit. And I walked off and never looked back since."

Greene compared the spontaneous act to catching the Holy Ghost, "That's exactly what it was," she said. "That was me speaking my truth in that moment. I need to go and be doing other things. I need to be working for marijuana reform. Instead of standing from the sidelines and talking about it as a reporter, I need to just start being about it."

Sounds cool, but unless you own a medical marijuana spot, like Greene does, you might want to stick to your day job. Maybe now she can take up a side gig as Waka Flocka Flame's weed roller.
