Mike Dean Signs Publishing Partnership With Warner/Chappell Music

Rap game OG Mike Dean, who has worked with the likes of Kanye West, Jay Z, E-40, 2 Pac, Tha Dogg Pound, and Tech N9ne among others, has signed a global publishing agreement with Warner/Chappell Music. Effective immediately, Warner/Chappell will administer Dean's past and future songwriting.

When speaking about the agreement, the President of Warner/Chappell's North American arm, Jon Platt stated: “Few producers have the talent to sustain a career as long, diverse and prolific as Mike’s. From 2Pac to Kanye and everyone in between, Mike has helped great artists define new sounds. He’s always innovating, not only within hip hop, but across pop music in general. We’re thrilled to be on his team.”

Dean also expressed his excitement over the deal when he said: “I am excited to work with Warner/Chappell and Big Jon on expanding my musical palate, and be able to continue to innovate and push music forward.”
