Jermaine Dupri Is Being Sued By His Former Friend

Talk about biting the hand that feeds you. According to a report from TMZ, Jermaine Dupri is being sued by his former friend Taddrick Mingo, who says that he worked as an assistant for JD, but never got paid. Mingo even has the role of "Personal Assistant" for So So Def on his LinkedIn profile. On his profile he says that he began the role in June 2010 and ended in February 2014. Jermaine refutes his friend's claims, saying that Mingo was never his assistant. Dupri says that he gave his friend a place to live for 4 years rent-free, the freedom to use his Hummer (which Mingo proceeded to trash), a free computer, free studio time, and referrals so that Mingo could get studio work, all free of charge.

Though the So So Def founder never says why he let Mingo leach off of him for all those years, Dupri says that he is suing Mingo for the money he lost on the sale of his damaged Hummer.
