Today, Sept. 15, is the birthday of talented Georgia-bred rapper Cydel Young a.k.a. CyHi The Prynce. CyHi now turns 34.

CyHi's rap career is full of memorable moments. He was a XXL Freshman in 2011 and has worked with the likes of Kanye West, JAY-Z, Talib Kweli, Killer Mike, Pusha-T and The RZA. He was featured on ’Ye's 2010 album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, and G.O.O.D. Music's 2013 compilation album, Cruel Summer. In 2014, he dropped his Black Hystori Project.

Recently, after CyHi was released from his G.O.O.D Music contract, he decided to go solo. In 2016, CyHi said he's dropping a new album with the help of Kanye. He still claims G.O.O.D. despite his departure fromthe imprinte.

This year, he's been in the studio with 2 Chainz, Travis Scott, ScHoolboy Q and more. The ATL spitter even shared a preview of his 2 Chainz collabo via Twitter in anticipation of his No Dope on Sundays debut album. In the midst of Def Jam/G.O.O.D. Music album release spree, CyHi revealed that Kanye had talked to him about putting out his own seven-song LP—with 'Ye production.

With some of the sharpest rhymes in hip-hop at his disposal, CyHi can go nowhere but up.

Happy Birthday, CyHi The Prynce!
