Drake’s “YOLO” Makes Its Way In The Oxford Dictionary

Drake Lint rollers

Drake has coined a few phrases since emerging from the suburbs of Toronto, but nothing has reached global scale quite like “Y.O.L.O.” The acronym stands for “You Only Live Once,” which he introduced the world to in his 2011 hit “The Motto.” The Billboard record-breaking artist had everyone and their mother using the catchy term, from hashtags to apparel. YOLO was everywhere. The Oxford English Dictionary jumped on the bandwagon by making YOLO an official word, ensuring people around the world the term isn’t going anywhere, no matter how hard we try.

Drake is currently on a joint tour with Lil Wayne, Drake Vs. Lil Wayne Tour.
