When video recently surfaced of a young Justin Bieber telling a racist joke stars like Floyd Mayweather and Soulja Boy came to the pop stars defense. After it was followed up with the remix it would be assumed all bets were off, right? Wrong. Add Lil Wayne and his Young Money crew to the legion of Bieber defenders according to TMZ.

Mack explained that Bieber being so young in the video is why Bieber gets a pass from the Young Money team. Mack Maine explained that he's had similar transgressions in the past, "I remember telling a white man, Chinese man, Black man joke as a kid that was terrible and I told it to my friends because I thought they'd think it was funny."

Mack Maine says that joke was as offensive as Bieber's but the difference is he told it out without getting seen by the public's watchful eye.

The support from Young Money comes in the wake of Lil Wayne's less than friendly remarks to Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun. Even with all the controversy surrounding the pop star Mack Maine says Young Money will continue to work with Bieber.

Young Money label president explains "Bieber does not have a slave mentality. He treats his people with respect."
