Next month Kanye West will be walking down the aisle not once but three times. He and his reality star bride to be Kim Kardashian plan to say, “I do” twice in France and once in Southern California reports RadarOnline.com.

A source told the website that the couple would have a civil ceremony in the U.S. as to avoid any legal issues followed by two in Kanye’s beloved France.

“Typically, the U.S. recognizes citizens getting married in France, but dealing with a foreign government and paperwork could be a nightmare,” explains the insider. “So just to make sure it’s legal, Kim and Kanye will first be having a civil ceremony in Southern California.”

According to the French Embassy in Washington D.C., “All marriages must be performed by a French civil authority before any religious ceremony takes place.”

This means that the pair must have their French nuptials legally authorized by a city official in addition to one of them living in country for at least 40 days prior to wedding. Even though Kanye has a Paris apartment, he does not stay there enough to be considered a resident.

“Kim and Kanye were unaware until recently that France required a residency requirement prior to marriage,” said a source. Despite their issues with French laws or fact the Jay-Z and Beyonce won’t be attending, the couple still plans to have an extravagant event.

“Kim will have at least three dress changes on the big ceremony day in France,” the insider explains. “It will be over the top. Kim and Kanye want it to be the wedding of the century.” – Chris M. Garner
