It might have taken some time, but Danny Brown has gone from outcast to hood favorite. With his new album Old touching stores last Tuesday (October 8), the snaggle-toothed rapper is reaching more audiences than ever. The eccentric Detroit MC recently sat down with Montreality for a Q&A session and revealed some interesting facts including what he did for money before his drug selling and rapping days, and the possibility of a joint album with Ab Soul, ScHoolboy Q and A$AP Rocky.

According to Danny, his money making mission started off with humble beginnings. "My first job I ever had, I washed pots at a buffet," he said. "But I lied on my application. I was 14 but I said I was 16. I worked there for two years. By the time I was 16, I started selling weed."

There have recently been rumors circulating that Brown would possibly be collabing on a joint album with Ab Soul, ScHoolboy Q and A$AP Rocky entitled Druggys With Hoes. Brown said he is down to put the record together but doesn't know if the other would be group members are more than all talk. "That's on them. I'm always here. I'm always ready to work," he said. "You know, TDE they always talk. They can't even do a Black Hippy album, so we doubt that will ever happen."
