Last week, Forbes released its annual "Hip-Hop Cash Kings" list of the richest hip-hop celebrities in all of music. For the first time in the list's eight-year history, the "Cash Kings" list was topped by Diddy after several years of falling just short after being ranked at No. 2 for four straight years.

Since the list's debut in 2007, many artists have risen and fallen in ranking on the Forbes list. A popular album or a successful business venture might have you topping the list one year before unceremoniously falling when the venture crashes and burns the next year.
