Riff Raff is often viewed as an underdog in hip-hop. Together with his outgoing personality and bizarre appearance, some rap fans have yet to accept Riff as a legitimate artist. However, since signing to Diplo’s Mad Decent label, Riff is set to prove his forthcoming Neon Icon album is something serious. Before the album drops, though, Riff has been feeding his fans with a steady supply of remixes on hip-hop’s biggest anthems. From Young Jeezy’s “R.I.P.” to Doe Boy’s "What You Mean?”, Joey Highroller has consistently delivered boastful, stream of conscious rhymes that hit hard. While we wait for his next surprise, we select the best remixes out now. Check out why the white Spike Lee hasn’t disappointed.—Compiled By Eric Diep And Dan Jackson

Millionaires, "Drinks On Me (Remix)"

This is a pretty minor entry in the Riff Raff remix canon, but he gives the song's gaudy sleaze-pop a touch of genuine oddness in his blink-and-you'll-miss-it tequila shot of a verse.

Grimes, "Genesis (Remix)"

Riff Raff jumping on a track from indie-pop artist Grimes sounds like a horrible idea, but in execution it becomes a compelling argument for Jody's goofy versatility. The wobbly bass and the ethereal synth tones are just another neon playground for him to bounce around in.

Kirko Bangz, "Shirt By Versace (Remix)"

There's a point in this song where Riff Raff takes on the voice of one of his many detractors and asks, "How'd you get on the remix?" and he shouts back "'Cause I'm pop-u-laaaaaar." The way he drags out "popular" into three totally distinct and bizarre syllables is a perfect distillation of his appeal: enthusiasm over coherence.

Casino, "White (Remix)"

Riff Raff's whiteness is a topic he rarely shies away from, so it only makes sense that he'd jump on Casino's shout-y banger "White" and drop some punchlines. Unsurprisingly he references fellow white icons like Ferris Bueller, Martha Stewart and Pat Sajak, all while sounding increasingly unhinged.

Ace Hood, "Bugatti (Remix)"

Ace Hood’s “Bugatti” became the summer song of 2013. It’s not surprising that Ace received a Gold plaque off the single—and according to Khaled, it’s going to reach platinum very soon. A few weeks later, we were treated to “Bugatti (Remix)” that featured Wiz Khalifa, T.I., Meek Mill, French Montana, 2 Chainz and Future. Who's missing from that list? That’s right—Riff Raff. He slides in and delivers without any hesitations.

Problem, "Like Whaaat (Remix)"

Jody describes himself as "the white Bernard Hopkins" here and he delivers a knockout, rattling off typically absurd lines about his candy mansion, his bluetooth and Mary Poppins. No spoonful of sugar needed to make this go down—just a decent set of speakers.

Young Jeezy, "R.I.P. (Remix)"

The minimalistic thump of DJ Mustard's "R.I.P." beat probably isn't the most forgiving terrain for a rapper like Riff Raff, but he's on point here, comparing himself to Martin Lawrence and making some tempting predictions for the future. Seriously, when is the Riff Raff "Started From The Bottom" remix coming out?

Migos, "Jumpin' Out The Gym (Remix)"

Migos are starting to establish themselves after their monster record, “Versace,” which received an empatic remix by Drake. Yes, the ATL duo has another hit, and that’s evident in “Jump Out Da Gym.” On the remix, they recruit their fellow ATL native Trinidad Jame$, as well as an unexpectedly solid verse by Riff. Once again, Joey shows us how versatile he can be.

Juicy J, "Show Out (Remix)"

Juicy J dropped “Bandz A Make Her Dance” and most rap fans didn’t think he could top it. Enter “Show Out,” another strip-club anthem featuring Young Jeezy and Big Sean. The remix wasn’t shy of any big name guests, gathering an unreleased Pimp C verse, T.I. and others. Though Riff wasn’t added to the official remix, he held up among the hip-hop heavyweights with his signature rhymes. Especially this: “Aw shit, look who it is, the white Chris Brown!”

Future, "Karate Chop (Remix)"

Future’s “Karate Chop” has been remixed by various rappers from Lil Wayne to Jeremih. Riff didn’t slow down his streak of jumping on other people’s singles, as he lays down his own set of rhymes to do that funny pull-up dance. “Jody drank sake bombs in the Kawasaki/Oh, shit, look who it is, the white Mr. Miyagi.”

Doe Boy, "What You Mean? (Remix)"

Doe Boy served some heatrock for the streets with “What You Mean”—a tough declaration about questioning one’s reasoning behind not getting money, popping things and the like. This is Riff’s most recent remix, where he glides over the harrowing production by Young Chop. Oh, did you think he wouldn’t come correct with bars? Thing again. He kicks off with, “I ain’t about my green? What you mean?” and continues to drop more gems: “Your whole wardrobe you bought it off the clearance rack/Stop talking to me unless you got a clean vagina/In 5th grade I used to have a Trapper Keeper.”
