Recap: New Releases & Weekly Album Sales, Ending 3/27/2013

This week saw Justin Timberlake continue to dominate the charts by moving another 300,000 copies of his widely successful . At the same time, Lil Wayne’s latest LP debuted behind Timberlake at #2, while Strange Music representatives Ces Cru’s album cracked the Top 100. On the singles front, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis’ “Thrift Shop” has finally been dethroned as the #1 selling digital single after weeks atop the chart. At the same time, this week saw two new additions to the chart: Lil Wayne’s 2 Chainz collab “Rich as Fuck” and Tyga’s “Molly.”
