Kid Cudi Announces Leaving G.O.O.D. Music

Kid Cudi stopped by Power 106 L.A. to promote his upcoming project, Indicud, due out on April 23. Instead of speaking on the album, Cudder went into details about leaving G.O.O.D. Music. Here are some quotes from the interview, and listen to the full audio below.

“Man, everything is cool. Everything is peace. Everything on the label, there’s never been any issue, but I am announcing that I am no longer on G.O.O.D. Music.”

UPDATE: Cudi knew six months ago that he would be leaving G.O.O.D. He also spoke with Jay-Z about the decision, and reassured that ‘Ye will always be his “big brother.” Later on in the interview, he says it is “just business.” He still plans on making music with the G.O.O.D. Music family like Pusha T, Big Sean and more.

When XXL reached out to Cudi’s camp for a comment, they confirmed that he exited G.O.O.D. Music.

UPDATE #2: G.O.O.D. Music releases an official statement on Cudi’s leave.

“G.O.O.D. Music supports Kid Cudi’s decision to leave the label.”

Who cares, I can’t stand this hipster douche. Him and Lupe same type of riding of HipHop’s coat-tails type of dudes. Go away.

Maybe this explains why he somehow made the worst song on that mediocre Cruel Summer album last year. But it doesn’t matter much to me who he’s signed to at this point. I just want to hear Indicud already.
