Kanye West is teaming up with other artists to give back the world over. Yeezy has been announced as a contributor to the Global Citizen's upcoming fan-curated music project, Metamorphoses. Other early contributors announced include indie rock band The National and English pop star Ellie Goulding.

Led by Mumford & Sons' Ben Lovett and Global Citizen co-founder and CEO Hugh Evans, Metamorphoses is a 12-track project where fans can submit content for lyrical interpretation. As Lovett explains in the promo video below, the submissions can be anything, from poems to stories, even wedding speeches, as long as the submission is original writing.

Global Citizen is a non-profit organization working to end world poverty by 2030 and they've aligned themselves with plenty famous figures in hip-hop over the years to help promote their cause. Beginning in 2012, Global Citizen has hosted an annual free concert in New York City where fans can earn a ticket by performing community service. In 2014, Jay-Z and The Roots headlined the big show and Jay brought out his famous wife Beyonce. The following year, Beyonce headlined the festival herself and brought out First Lady Michelle Obama.

In a press release for the project, Lovett said, "The artists involved in this project are some of the most genuine artists the world has to offer. Artists like Kanye West and The National are doing something globally important that is touching people down to their DNA."

Global Citizen is accepting submissions for Metamorphoses on their site until March 31. Check out the video for Global Citizen's Metamorphoses project below to see how your words can end up in Kanye's hands.
