Jay Z And The Roots To Headline NYC’s Global Citizen Festival
Jay Z and Beyonce's "On The Run" Tour is in full swing and when the tour wraps up, Hov will have little time to rest as he has been announced a headliner at New York City's "Global Citizen Festival" in September. The massive festival is set to take place on September 27 in Manhattan's Central Park and will also feature The Roots and pop acts like Carrie Underwood, No Doubt, and Tiesto.
The show is free and interested fans can gain entrance to the show by earning points for supporting the end to extreme poverty around the world (more information can be found at www.http://www.globalcitizen.org/festival). Fans can also purchase VIP tickets for as low as $75. The concert will also air live on NBC and MSNBC.
