XXL Freshmen 2015 is coming and the freshman hopefuls are gearing up to possibly make this year’s class. With the10th Spot voting happening now, we have to let the potentials tell us why they should appear on this year’s cover.

New York native, Le1f, has been on the hip-hop scene for the past three years. In 2012, after offering production help on Das Racist's popular tune, "Combination Pizza Hut and Taco Bell," Le1f unveiled his debut mixtape Dark York.  "Wut," the offering's lead single then began to attract attention all over the USA. He's since put out two additonal efforts, Fly Zone and Tree House, as well as his Hey EP.  Le1f made his television debut in March of 2014 performing "Wut" on the Late Show with David Letterman, making history as the first ever LGBT rapper to perform on the show. Watch above as he tells us why he should appear on the coveted XXL Freshmen list.

The XXL Freshmen10th Spot will run from March 16 to March 22. This is where the public gets the chance to vote an artist into XXL Freshmen Class.
