Off-White Converse Chuck Taylor Gets Release Date
The last silhouette from Virgil's The Ten collection with Nike will finally release this spring. Launching in limited quantities and at select Swoosh retailers, the next and final pair of sneakers from Off-White's The Ten capsule will be the classic Converse Chuck Taylor silhouette.
Inspired by Virgil’s “Ghosting” idea, the upcoming Off-White x Converse Chuck Taylor will feature a translucent upper with signature Off-White branding scattered throughout the canvas. Featuring quotation marks such as “Left” and “Right” on the toe caps of each sneaker, the silhouette also includes the word “Vulcanized” on the midsoles and “Shoelaces” at the tip of each shoe lace. The popular red Off-White hang tag will also be included on the right silhouette of the sneakers.
Virgil's Nike The Ten collection released for the most part last fall in 2017. Comprised of 10 signature kicks from Nike, Jordan Brand and Converse, nine of the sneakers sold out in a matter of minutes—with the final pair dropping in the next few days.
The Off-White Converse Chuck Taylor 70 is scheduled to release in limited quantities on Thurs., May 10. Look for Nike and Converse to announce a price point for the shoes in the days to come before the pair’s release.
