Just a week into the new year, Jordan Brand has already announced its first retro release of 2018. Bringing back the iconic Air Jordan 1 silhouette in a never-before-seen colorway, the Jumpman gears up to take a jump start against its competitors with this eye-catching release.

Dressed in a black tumble leather upper, the pair of kicks feature hits of gold on the tongue with the Jumpman Wing logo and the Swoosh branding on the side panels. Sitting atop of a white midsole, the sneakers are rounded out by an icy translucent blue outsole. Paying homage to this year's upcoming NBA All-Star game in Los Angeles, Jordan Brand incorporates the black and gold mantra to represent for the Los Angeles Lakers and former NBA player Kobe Bryant, who was also known as the Black Mamba.

Dubbed as the “City of Flight” iteration, this Air Jordan 1 Retro drops on Wed., Jan. 10 and will retail for a suggested price of $160 at select Nike Basketball retailers nationwide as well as online at nike.com. Look for Nike to release All-Star themed goods in the weeks to come.
