Japanese streetwear brand Bape has teamed up with British footwear company Dr. Martens to create a special limited edition collection on two of Doc Martens’ signature silhouettes.

The collaborative effort between Bape and Dr. Marten will include the 1460 boot and the 1461 shoe. Transforming the plain regular canvas of the Dr. Martnen shoes into a full-fledge ape head camo motif, the collection is compromised of four all-new silhouettes-two 1460 boots (black and burgundy) and two 3-eye shoe (burgundy and black).

Along with the release of the footwear collection, Bape and Dr. Marten will release a matching apparel collection with dual-branding throughout each clothing item. Consisting of several graphic tees and long sleeve button-down shirts, this collaborative set will drop in coalition with the footwear launch.

This forthcoming release of this collection will mark the first collaboration ever between Dr. Martens and A Bathing Ape. The Bape x Dr. Martens collection will release at Bape retailers worldwide and online on Sat., Jan. 27. The collaborative collection will also drop at select Dr. Martens’ retailers in the U.S.

In related Bape news, the Japanese brand recently unveiled their upcoming collaboration with adidas and NBA player Damian Lillard. Releasing during this year's All-Star Weekend, the sneaker collection will consist of three basketball sneakers with Bape's infamous camo motif print.
