Over the weekend, the release of the coveted Just Don Ax Air Jordan 2 Beach had sneakerheads scrambling all over town looking to get their hands on the limited and pricey collaborative sneaker. The shoe, which marked the second collaboration between the popular Chicago tastemaker and the Swoosh on the Air Jordan 2 silhouette, was released on Saturday, Jan. 30 for a hefty price of $650.

Unlike last year's royal blue release, the Air Jordan Beach 2 featured a matching hat to go along with the pair of sneakers. The pairing between Jordan Brand and Just Don resulted in another successful launch as the sneakers immediately sold out online and at select retailers that it was sold at. With many sneakerheads getting their hands on the shoes, some were out of luck, and unfortunately missed out on the collaborative goods between Don C and the Jumpman. While sneaker collectors looked to pay retail price for the shoes, resellers took advantage from the demand and limited supply of the sneaker, and began posting up their sneakers on eBay with a starting price of a whooping $1,800.
