YouTube is expanding their Internet-changing website by adding an award show. The first annual YouTube Music Awards takes place today (November 3) and is slated to feature performances from Eminem and Tyler, The Creator. Kendrick Lamar, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and Nicki Minaj, among others are up for awards. The event will stream live starting at 6 p.m. EST. The show is being taped at Pier 36 in New York, New York. Leading up to the inaugural show, there will be preliminary celebration in Seoul, Moscow, Rio and London. Unlike the general awards given out a regular music award shows, YT's accolades will pertain to the site with winner being selected via the site's data from the last 12 months. There is also a fan vote where winners could be voted on via Google+, Facebook and Twitter.
